Nursery

We offer Nursery places for the morning, running from 8.45am-11:45am, each Monday to Friday. Places are given based upon when children turn three (the term after this date).  Attendance at our Nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception and the admission forms distributed by Durham County must be completed and returned to the County Council.

Admission to Primary School

Our pupil admission is Reception, Year 1 and 2 (Class 2), Year 3 and 4 (Class 3), and  Year 5 and Year 6 (Class 4).  If you require a place for your child at our school please contact the admissions team at Durham County Council Durham School Places and Admissions based at County Hall. Please also see Durham County Council’s admissions brochure attached below.

If you are considering applying for a place in our school you are very welcome to come and visit our school. We are very proud of our setting and are certain that you will be impressed. If you would like to visit please contact Mrs Pinkowski in the school office.

Applying for a school place if your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan

Children and young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan follow a different admission and transfer process for a new school.  Please continue to complete Durham County Council’s parental preference form, as part of the admission process to a new school.  You continue to have a right to request a particular school and this will be considered alongside the information that we have about your child’s special educational needs.  The information would have been provided as part of the Education, Health and Care assessment or following the review meeting.

If you would like to discuss your SEND requirements in detail please contact the school to arrange an appointment.
